Al mahwit: Deputy Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development, Nasser Al-Mahdar, met with Al Mahwit Governor Hanin Qutaynah to discuss ongoing development and service projects, as well as stalled projects in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed the challenges facing project implementation and the proposed solutions to resume delayed projects, aiming to support local development and improve public services for citizens. The participants stressed the need to intensify efforts by the local authority bodies in the governorate to activate development work with the participation of local communities.

They emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to overcome existing challenges through the proposed solutions, highlighting the value of exchanging ideas and perspectives that support the implementation of local authority plans and programs. The meeting further underscored the necessity of enhancing efforts to advance the development process and implement community initiatives, given their role in improving service and development conditions.

The participants agreed that achieving local and rural development is a priority that receives considerable attention from the revolutionary, political leadership, and the government.
