Al mahwit: The Education Sector in Hufash District of Al Mahwit Governorate organized a speech event and a student march to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the student march started from multiple areas within the district, involving male and female students as well as educational personnel. The procession made its way to the performance and celebration square in Al-Safqain, the district center. Participants voiced slogans condemning insults to the Holy Quran and Islamic sanctities while affirming their commitment to faith-based identity, Quranic culture, and rejecting all efforts to undermine the Book of Allah and Islamic values.
The event was graced by the presence of Deputy Governor Yahya Faraj, District Security Director Colonel Ali Al-Hashimi, and Chairman of the Hufash Agricultural Association Mohammed Al-Ansi. District Director Amin Al-Qal'aba commended the preparation and organization of the event, highlighting the strong community involvement which underscored the significance of marking the Prophet's birthday.
Al-Qal'aba emphasized the necessity of maintaining such events to enhance awareness of the Prophet's teachings and the principles introduced by the Noble Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. He also praised the efforts of the Education Sector and other stakeholders in ensuring the successful execution of the event. He pointed out that the commemoration serves as a platform to revisit the exemplary life of the Prophet and to reinforce values of morality, solidarity, and adherence to the Muhammadan approach.
He urged broad participation in the upcoming events and programs planned for the occasion, notably the central event scheduled at the governorate center next Thursday, 12 Rabi' Al-Awwal.
District Education Officer Ahmed Al-Zain remarked that the event is part of the educational sector's initiatives to honor the Prophet's birthday and reflect its significance among the district's residents. He stressed the importance of learning from the life of the Noble Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and embodying his morals and values in daily life.
