Al-Mahwit City Hosts Student Exhibition to Mark Prophet’s Birthday Anniversary

Al mahwit: A student celebratory event on the anniversary of the Prophet's Birthday-upon its owner and his family the best prayers and purest salutations-was held today in Al Mahwit city, organized by the Modern Universal Schools.

According to Yemen News Agency, Province Undersecretary Abdulsalam Al-Dhamari highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's Birthday to draw lessons and wisdom from the life of the Noble Messenger Muhammad. He emphasized the role of such celebrations in schools to instill virtuous values and morals, fostering religious and cultural awareness among students while protecting them from the influence of foreign ideas.

Director of the District Ibrahim Al-Nasser expressed that the occasion serves as a reminder of the greatness of the Noble Messenger and the values he embodied, including mercy, solidarity, benevolence, honesty, and trustworthiness. He stressed the community's love for the Prophet and the importance of educational institutions linking activities with religious occasions to promote awareness and adherence to prophetic teachings.

Malik Al-Shahadhi, Head of the Education Sector in the city, noted that student activities are crucial for developing skills and creativity. He encouraged the continuation of school events that help discover and nurture student talents, contributing to a joyful atmosphere during religious celebrations.

The event, attended by educational and social figures, featured chanting, poetry, and student contributions that expressed admiration for the Noble Messenger. Following the performances, officials inaugurated an exhibition showcasing photos, models, and drawings, which highlighted the artistic talents of the students.

Officials praised the organization and student involvement in the exhibition, emphasizing the importance of encouraging students to continue innovating and honing their skills.
