Al-mahwit: Schools in the Mikhlaf Sareh area of Jabal Al-Mahwit district on Wednesday held various events and activities to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. Participants expressed their joy over the important religious occasion and renewed their attachment to the Messenger of Allah, emphasizing the importance of emulating his noble biography, values, and principles in all aspects of life.
According to Yemen News Agency, at an event held at the Martyr Hassan Nasrallah Educational Complex in Souq Al-Ahad area, Province Undersecretary Mohammed Al-Qurum highlighted the Prophet's birthday as an important faith-based occasion to draw inspiration from the life of the Noble Prophet. He called for broad participation in the central event scheduled for 12 Rabi' al-Awwal.
District Mobilization Official Mohammed Al-Marawi also underscored the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday, noting that the occasion provides an opportunity to enhance faith-based awareness and reinforce moral and national values.
In related activities, Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari School in Bayt Al-Hamzi and Al-Noor School in Al-Khallal hosted events attended by Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Qurum and Deputy Head of the Education Sector Hadi Al-Hamzi. These events featured chanting and cultural performances reflecting the significance of the occasion.
Additionally, Al-Noor School organized a walking march where participants carried banners and chanted slogans expressing their joy and reaffirming their commitment to national principles. Meanwhile, residents of Souq Al-Ahad area held a cultural evening with chanting, poetry, and traditional folklore performances.
