Al-mahwit: The Security Directorate of Al-Mahwit Governorate organized a religious and awareness seminar on Wednesday to commemorate Rajab Friday. The event saw participation from various security leaders and social figures, focusing on the religious and historical importance of the day.
According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar featured a speech by Colonel Shihab Amer, the Director of Moral Guidance and Public Relations at the governorate's security department. Colonel Amer elaborated on the occasion's significance, emphasizing Yemen's deep-rooted faith-based identity. He noted that faith has consistently been a defining characteristic of the Yemeni people, as highlighted by noble prophetic traditions.
Colonel Amer underscored that the uniqueness of faith serves as a cornerstone in building collective awareness and strengthening the resilience needed to confront current challenges. He explained that these awareness seminars for security personnel are grounded in their religious and national duties, aiming to promote faith-based and ethical consciousness within the security forces.
He further stressed that a security officer with strong religious and ethical awareness becomes a societal role model. By maintaining a connection to religious values, officers gain the strength necessary to persist in their sacred mission of ensuring security and stability. This awareness also aids in improving security operations and fostering values such as benevolence, humility, and discipline in interactions with citizens.
