Sana'a: The Chairmanship of the Parliament convened an extensive meeting on Wednesday under the leadership of Speaker Yahya Ali al-Ra'i, which included the heads and rapporteurs of the standing committees. The discussion focused on critical national and regional developments, highlighting the importance of national unity and the protection of Yemen's sovereignty.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting also addressed the extension of the temporary mechanism law aimed at supporting public sector salaries and resolving issues faced by small depositors. Participants underscored the necessity of coordination between constitutional authorities and stressed the importance of holding the government accountable for the implementation of parliamentary recommendations. They also called for intensified oversight efforts in response to current challenges.
