Dhamar:Tribes from the Al-Manar District in Dhamar Province have announced their mobilization to support military fronts in response to escalating tensions.
According to Yemen News Agency, an armed tribal gathering was held under the theme 'Mobilization and Readiness to Confront Escalation with Escalation.' Notable attendees included Shura Council member Abdulmalik Al-Bareq, Al-Manar District Director Mohammed Jaaraan, provincial Tribal Affairs official Yahya Ghailan, and Fisheries Sector official Sadiq Al-Sablani. During the event, Local Council Secretary-General Hamoud Sabae emphasized the district's readiness to face any challenges, aiming to complete liberation efforts, break the siege, and reclaim rights deemed looted.
Sabae condemned actions by Saudi forces in Taiz and other areas, asserting that Al-Manar tribes are committed to confronting these forces until the siege lifts, aggression ends, and rights are restored. He also called on social leaders to encourage those misled into opposition to return under the President of the Supreme Political Council's general amnesty.
The gathering participants expressed their determination to counter what they termed as escalation and crimes against Yemenis, demonstrating ongoing support for the armed forces and pledging to provide personnel for various fronts. A statement from the meeting urged for continued mobilization, support with personnel, funds, and recruitment, while committing to escalation in response to siege conditions until victory is achieved.
The statement also highlighted support for the Palestinian cause and opposition to foreign influence, pledging personnel, weapons, and equipment for the armed forces. It reiterated the district's commitment to Arab and Muslim issues, especially the Palestinian cause and the defense of Islamic holy sites, condemning Israeli actions at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
