Sanaa:Several governorates are expected to experience scattered and varying-intensity thundery rainfall in the coming hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted that parts of Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Al Mahwit, and Hajjah, along with regions in the Tihama Plain and the western coast, may see such weather conditions.
Additionally, scattered rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is anticipated in parts of Hadramout, Shabwah, Abyan, Lahj, Al Dhale'a, and Dhamar governorates.
The center has advised citizens to avoid valley beds and flood channels and to be cautious of thunderstorms. It also recommended staying away from elevated areas, metal structures, tall trees, and refraining from using mobile phones. Disconnecting electricity is also advised to ensure safety during these weather events.
