Hodeida: The security department of Al-Marawi'ah district in Hodeida governorate organized a cultural and oratorical event on Tuesday to commemorate the Prophet's birthday, under the slogan "At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah."
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by prominent figures such as Member of Parliament Hussein Qasrah, Director of Security for the Eastern Region Brigadier General Qa'wan Shuwayan, and Member of the Al-Marawi'ah Public Prosecution Abdulwahab Al-Qutaibi. During the event, district director Abdullah Al-Marouni regarded the occasion as a mobilization effort against global forces attempting to detach the nation from its source of strength and dignity. He emphasized the unity and historical significance of the celebration, which reflects the community's deep connection to the Prophet.
Al-Marouni highlighted the importance of concluding these events with significant participation in central district and governorate squares, aiming to portray a Yemeni image that honors the status of prophethood. This, he stated, translates to a sincere commitment and allegiance to God and His Messenger.
District's public mobilization officer, Hammadi Matwan, reiterated the strength drawn from the nation's jihadist legacy under Muhammad's leadership. He stressed the need to use this occasion to enhance mobilization efforts and recruitment drives, supporting training camps and new graduates from the "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses in response to attacks on the Quran and the Prophet.
Yahya Maqbuli, representing scholars, explained that celebrating the birth of humanity's savior aligns with the Quranic command to rejoice in God's grace. He warned against intellectual invasions and highlighted the role of these gatherings as a defense against efforts to erase identity. Maqbuli urged attendees to embody benevolence and solidarity, following the example of Prophet Muhammad.
Colonel Fayed Al-Mawanes, Director of the Marawah Security Department, affirmed the security sector's commitment to responding to leadership's call. He pledged vigilance in protecting the nation's gains and securing the home front from any threats.
