Sana'a: Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawa, and Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority, Ibrahim Mahdi, conducted an inspection of the eastern crossing of Taiz City on Monday. They reviewed the vehicle movement and the security procedures that have been implemented for entry into and exit from the city.
According to Yemen News Agency, the officials were accompanied by Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khalid. During the visit, Al-Masawa confirmed that the security procedures at the crossing are functioning smoothly and efficiently, benefiting the citizens. He expressed appreciation for the efforts of the security and military personnel in organizing traffic flow and facilitating procedures for travelers.
Al-Masawa highlighted that the eastern crossing road has alleviated the difficulties previously encountered by commuters, emphasizing that the security measures are in place to ensure the safety of citizens and to maintain smooth movement. Also present were Deputy Director General of Taiz Police, Brigadier General Abdu Rabbah Al-Hajj, Commander of the Special Security Forces (Najda), Colonel Ahmed Darham, along with several other military and security officials.
