Sana'a: In a solemn funeral procession in Sana'a today, the body of the late Mujahid Muhammad Muhsin al-Ayani, who passed away after a life dedicated to serving his country, was laid to rest. During the procession, which was led by the Grand Mufti of Yemen, Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, the Acting Prime Minister, Muhammad Muftah, the Deputy Speakers of the House of Representatives, Abdul Salam Hashoul, and the Shura Council, Dhaif Allah Rassam, the Mayor of Sana'a, several governors, members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, and a number of deputy ministers, mourners expressed their deepest condolences to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, on the passing of al-Ayani, who was among the first and foremost pioneers of the Quranic movement.
According to Yemen News Agency, they affirmed that the deceased was a dedicated and generous mujahid who devoted himself and his wealth to the cause of God from the very beginning of the Quranic movement. He was also among the first to engage in jihad alongside the martyred leader, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, until his martyrdom. The mourners noted that the deceased was a peacemaker who worked discreetly to address people's needs and left a significant mark on his country and community, particularly in supporting the families of martyrs. They emphasized that Yemen has lost one of its national figures with the passing of Mohammed Al-Ayani.
They explained that Yemen is bidding farewell to a prominent national figure, a man of resolve and patience who dedicated his wealth and lives to the cause and was at the forefront of establishing the principle of jihad in the path of God to confront the enemies. They pointed out that the late Al-Ayani stood alongside the martyred leader in the Quranic movement and made national contributions to strengthening resilience and steadfastness in the face of adversity.
They called upon all the people of Yemen to be fully prepared for any future conflict with the Zionist-American enemy, which is plotting against Yemen, its sovereignty, and its independence. They prayed that God would grant the deceased His abundant mercy and forgiveness, admit him to Paradise, and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace. The funeral procession for the deceased took place after prayers at the People's Mosque in the capital, Sana'a, before his burial in Sa'ada Governorate.
