Taiz: Acting Governor of Taiz and Chairman of the Provincial Security Committee Ahmed Al-Masawi inspected security conditions, stability, and readiness in several liberated areas of the Western Coast districts. Accompanied by Provincial Undersecretary Fouad Al-Barh, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region Brig. Gen. Mohammed Al-Khaled, and Provincial Security Director Brig. Gen. Shukri Mahyoub, Al-Masawi inspected security checkpoints, positions, and government facilities in the area.
According to Yemen News Agency, the field visit included several security checkpoints, where Al-Masawi reviewed measures to secure roads, areas, and protect citizens, as well as public and private property. He also assessed the performance and readiness of the Mokha District Security Department and its operational needs. Additionally, the delegation inspected the government complex to evaluate its readiness to resume government operations and provide public services in the liberated areas.
Al-Masawi stated that the field visit was in line with directives from Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and Supreme Political Council President Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat to assess citizens' conditions and needs, and to ensure the provision of services. He highlighted the importance of strengthening security presence, vigilance, and readiness, as well as consolidating security and stability, protecting citizens and their property, and creating suitable conditions for state institutions to resume their normal functions.
Furthermore, Al-Masawi reaffirmed the implementation of the Supreme Political Council President's directives to activate coordination committees in the Western Coast districts. These committees, headed by district directors and security directors, aim to coordinate with and secure all individuals covered by the general amnesty.
