Al hodeidah: Al-Masirah Youth were crowned champions of the Greatest Prophet Football Championship in Al-Hawk District, Al Hodeidah Governorate. The tournament was organized by the district's Youth and Sports Office under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Youth, Sports, the local authority, and the General Mobilization in the governorate, featuring five teams competing in a round-robin format.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Masirah Youth secured their championship title after a goalless draw against Al-Duhma Youth in the fifth and final round, held at Al-Sabah School Stadium. This result brought their total points to 10, placing them at the top of the standings.
The match was officiated by referee Maher Al-Soufi, and a championship ceremony followed, where Al-Masirah Youth received the first-place trophy. Al-Duhma Youth were awarded the second-place trophy as recognition for their efforts.
In addition to the team awards, individual accolades were also presented. Mohammed Doudah of Al-Duhma Youth and Marwan Al-Ramadi received the Best Player awards for their exceptional performances throughout the tournament. Muneer Awta of Santos Ghaleel was honored with the Best Goalkeeper award, highlighting his skills in guarding the net.
