Sana'a: The Military Judiciary Department on Wednesday held a speech event in the capital Sana'a to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The event was attended by heads of the Central Military Region Court, Judge Mohammed Al-Kuhlani; the Central Military Region Court of Appeal Prosecutor's Office, Judge Abdul-Kafi Al-Amari; and the Fourth Military Region Prosecutor's Office, Judge Ahmed Al-Mekhlafi.
According to Yemen News Agency, Judge Osama Al-Junaid, head of the Third and Fourth Military Regions Primary Courts, emphasized that the manifestations of celebrating the Prophet's birthday, which distinguish the Yemeni people from other nations, are an integral part of their faith-based identity. He highlighted that expressing joy and happiness at the birth of the Noble Prophet is a practice recognized by sound reason and human nature, as it stems from rejoicing in the divine blessing bestowed upon all humanity.
Judge Al-Junaid affirmed that observing religious rites and implementing religious rulings are signs of following the Messenger of Allah. He stressed the importance of learning from the Prophet's noble biography and reflecting on his life, struggle, and the values and principles of Islam that uphold individual dignity and societal unity. He noted that official and popular engagement in commemorating this significant occasion, while it may anger adversaries, represents a renewal of the pledge to Allah and His Messenger to remain steadfast in truth and support the causes and holy sites of the nation.
The event also saw the presence of heads from the Fifth and Sixth Military Regions Prosecutor's Offices, including Judge Adel Al-Jabri, and the Third Military Region Court of Appeal Prosecutor's Office, Judge Ismail Al-Fudail. Cultural activist Abdulsalam Al-Subaihi spoke on the adherence to the Muhammadan message, emphasizing its role in purifying souls and safeguarding the nation from external schemes aimed at distancing it from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Messenger.
Judge Al-Hassan Al-Shabibi discussed the expressions of joy accompanying the Prophet's birthday and how Yemenis celebrate this religious occasion in a manner that honors the status of the Chosen Prophet. He described the commemoration as an opportunity for renewing the pledge, loyalty, and commitment to the Prophet's approach, which sought dignity, honor, and goodness for the nation in both this world and the Hereafter. Al-Shabibi affirmed that the military justice and judiciary represent a steadfast front, equally vital as the direct confrontation fronts against adversaries such as Saudi Arabia, America, and Israel.
Judge Al-Shabibi called on the community to participate widely in activities and events marking the Prophet's birthday and to mobilize for 12 Rabi' al-Awwal to commemorate his blessed birth.
