Ma'bar: Al-Nasr Team emerged victorious in the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' football tournament, securing the championship in both the senior and youth categories in the city of Ma'bar, located in Jahran District, Dhamar Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament concluded on Tuesday and was organized by local youth in collaboration with the General Mobilization in the district. The event was supervised by the Office of Youth, Sports, and the Local Authority in Jahran District. Al-Nasr Team claimed the senior championship by defeating Ittihad Hail Team with a score of 2-0 in the final match held at Al-Ghazal Stadium.
The closing ceremony saw the presence of several officials, including district mobilization official Yahya Al-Kabsi, Youth Office branch director Abdulilah Al-Qobani, and board members of Salam Ma'bar Club. Vice President Faisal Salah, Secretary-General Ali Mahdi, Assistant Secretary-General Mohammed Zina, Financial Officer Mohammed Athebah, and Technical Committee Head Jameel Al-Fadhli presented the tournament champions with trophies and cash prizes, courtesy of Salam Ma'bar Club.
In the senior category, Al-Nasr Team secured first place, followed by Ittihad Hail Team in second. In the youth category, Al-Nasr Team also claimed first place, with Rasaba Team taking second. Individual honors were awarded to standout players, with Omar Al-Talbi recognized as the best player, Ayman Adel Al-Tashi as the best goalkeeper, and Suhail Al-Wosabi and Majed Sayyah sharing the top scorer title.
