Al-Noor Center for Blind Concludes Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Amer Course in Sixth Season

Sanaa: Al-Noor Center for the Blind concluded today the Sheikh Hafiz Mohammed Hussein Amer course for the Holy Quran in its sixth season 1447 AH. At the closing ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Nasser Al-Hamdani, congratulated the students, memorizers of the Book of God, for their good participation in the course, praising the efforts of the leadership of Al-Noor Center for the Blind and the staff in making the center's activities a success. He expressed his happiness at attending the closing ceremony of the Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Amer course, organized by Al-Noor Center for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Blind, and honoring the memorizers of the Book of God and the participants, affirming the importance of the course from which blind students benefited in the month of the Quran, and graduating memorizers from the blind category. According to Yemen News Agency, the Head of the Social Affairs and Labor Committee at the Local Council of the Capital Secretariat, Hammoud Al-Naqeeb, praised the effo rts of the management of Al-Noor Center for the Blind in making the course of the late Sheikh Hafiz Mohammed Hussein Amer a success. He affirmed that the success of the course in its sixth edition provides the impetus to continue organizing it regularly under the circumstances Yemen is going through, of aggression and siege. He pointed to the importance of the course in graduating dozens of blind individuals as memorizers of the Great Book of God, calling for support for the center to contribute to the care of this important segment of society. During the conclusion, attended by the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Finance, Jameel Al-Du'ais, and the Capital Secretariat, Mazen Nu'man, and the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Walid Fayi', the Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the Capital Secretariat, Nasser Al-Kahili, affirmed the importance of the course organized by Al-Noor Center for the Blind during the month of the Quran, the blessed month of Ramadan, for the sixth season of memorizers of the Book of God. He considered the Sheikh Hafiz Mohammed Hussein Amer course for memorizing the Book of God one of the successful projects of Al-Noor Center for the Blind. For his part, the Director of Al-Noor Center for the Blind, Hassan Ismail, reviewed the stages of implementing the course, in which 100 blind students from the center's residents and various governorates participated during the days of the blessed month of Ramadan. He appreciated the efforts supporting the course, foremost among them the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled, the main supporter and backer of Al-Noor Center for the Blind, expressing thanks to the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and the supporters of the activities and programs of Al-Noor Center for the Blind. Ismail noted the role of the center's cadres in caring for and rehabilitating the blind, and making the work of the course in its sixth season a success. The closing ceremony featured listening to a number of Quran memorize rs who graduated from the course, a report on the course of the late Sheikh Hafiz Mohammed Hussein Amer, and honoring the students who memorized the entire Holy Quran, as well as the top students in each circle for memorizing parts of the Quran, with certificates and cash prizes.
