Sana'a: Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammed al-Nuaimi on Sunday stressed the importance of finalizing the agricultural policies initiated by the late Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Radwan al-Rubai.
According to Yemen News Agency, this statement was made during a meeting chaired by al-Nuaimi in Sana'a with the ministry's deputies, the head of the Agricultural Cooperative Union, and several officials and staff members. The session commenced with the recitation of al-Fatihah in honor of the nation's martyrs, including Dr. al-Rubai, who was martyred in a recent Zionist attack during a government workshop. The meeting also reviewed the progress of the ministry's agricultural policies.
Al-Nuaimi extended his condolences to the ministry's leadership and staff for the loss of Dr. al-Rubai, commending his significant role in advancing the plant and animal agricultural sectors. He highlighted the need to uphold the values and principles championed by the late minister, who recognized the critical importance of agricultural development. Al-Nuaimi called for the completion of pending agricultural policies within the year.
He urged the ministry's deputies and directors to collaborate as a united team to achieve national agricultural goals. Al-Nuaimi emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs, especially Dr. al-Rubai, should inspire enhanced efforts towards food security and self-sufficiency in this vital sector.
