They discussed strategies for expanding the cultivation and production of local dates, aiming to strengthen this agricultural sector and its contribution to the national economy.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting emphasized the significance of utilizing available agricultural land and resources across various governorates to increase local date production. The focus is on improving quality and enhancing the sector's capacity to meet local market demands.
