Sana'a: The Speaker of Parliament, Yahya al-Ra'i, the Chairman of the Shura Council, Mohammed Hussein al-Aidroos, and the Acting Prime Minister, Mohammed Miftah, participated on Sunday in Sana'a in a speech event organized by the Political Bureau of Ansarullah on the occasion of the anniversary of the Martyr of the Qur'an, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, under the slogan 'The Qur'anic Project. Awareness that Builds Positions and Confronts Tyranny.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the speakers at the event affirmed the importance of commemorating this anniversary to draw lessons from the jihadist and intellectual march of the Martyr of the Qur'an, and his role in reviving faith-based awareness and confronting Zionist and American hegemony projects, stemming from religious and moral responsibility toward the nation.
They pointed out that the Qur'anic march constituted a national and intellectual project that contributed to enhancing steadfastness and resilience, and preserving security and stability in the capital Sana'a and the free governorates, despite years of aggression and siege.
The Acting Prime Minister stressed the necessity of unifying official and popular efforts to thwart conspiracies targeting Yemen and confront economic and living challenges, affirming the continuation of work to enhance local production and preserve state institutions.
