Al-Ruwad School Holds Event to Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday in Sa’ada

Sa'ada: Al-Ruwad Private School in Sa'ada city organized a speech event on Saturday commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday for the year 1448 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, Province undersecretary Saleh Aqab spoke at the event, emphasizing that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reflects reverence for the Prophet Muhammad and affirms the prominent place he holds in people's hearts. He highlighted the Yemeni people's longstanding record of supporting the Prophet since the dawn of Islam.

Aqab urged everyone to participate widely in the Prophet's Birthday activities, express joy on the occasion, and mobilize for the main event on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal.

The event, attended by several Sa'ada undersecretaries, also featured remarks by Al-Ruwad School Cultural Official Shehab al-Qatabari. Al-Qatabari stressed the need for the nation to sincerely return to God and His final Messenger to build a nation that spreads goodness throughout the world.

He noted that commemorating the birth of Muhammad, described as the leader and savior of the nation and teacher of humanity, angers the enemies of Islam. He pointed out that this demonstrates the strong bond between the Yemeni people, known for faith and wisdom, and the Prophet.

The event, attended by educational and local officials, featured speeches, poems, religious chants, a theatrical sketch, and traditional performances. These activities highlighted the significance of the occasion and the importance of broad participation in its activities.
