Dhamar Launches Supplementary ‘Second-Round’ General Secondary School Exams

Dhamar: The Education Sector in Dhamar Governorate launched the supplementary 'second-round' examinations for male and female students of the General Secondary Certificate at two examination centers in Dhamar city.

According to Yemen News Agency, the launch took place at the Al-Saeed Complex School for Boys and the Higher Institute for Teachers for Girls. Ministry of Education Supervisor Yahya Al-Ansi stated that the supplementary exams demonstrate the ministry's commitment to providing students, who have failed one, two, or three subjects in the science section, an opportunity to complete their studies and pursue university education, in accordance with regulations.

He emphasized the importance of students working diligently and adhering to examination rules and instructions. Additionally, Dhamar Education Sector official Mohammed Al-Hadi and his deputy, Ali Al-Amadi, called on examination committees to follow the examination schedule and ensure a conducive environment for students during their exams.

Director of the Examinations Department, Samir Al-Harbi, reported that 1,542 male students and 956 female students have registered for exams in all subjects at the two designated centers in Dhamar city. The launch was attended by several education officials.
