Sanaa: The Director General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, and the Director of the Capital Sanaa Traffic Police, Colonel Najib Al-Asadi, were honored by the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, and the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdul Majeed Al-Murtada. The honoring ceremony took place on Tuesday, Shaaban 27, 1446 AH (February 25, 2025), where they were awarded certificates of appreciation for their efforts in developing traffic work.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the efforts of the Traffic Police in improving performance and upgrading services provided to citizens, emphasizing the significance of these efforts in enhancing traffic safety. He highlighted the positive developments in the performance of the Traffic Police and the Traffic Control Unit, which have been reflected in the services provided to citizens, particularly on long roads.
The Deputy Minister of Interior underscored the importance of the initiatives taken by the Traffic Police to enhance performance and facilitate services, which have led to community and leadership satisfaction.
Major General Dr. Al-Barashi, the Director General of Traffic Police, expressed his gratitude for the honor, viewing it as recognition for all traffic officers and a motivation to put forth more effort in the field. He also reiterated his commitment to achieving the best results and enhancing traffic safety.
