Sana'a: Acting Governor of Al-Dhale' Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, along with Dr. Ali Jahaf, Deputy Minister of Health for Therapeutic Medicine, inaugurated the Dialysis Center at May 22 Hospital in Jubin District at a cost of $160,000.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the inauguration, Al-Shaghdari highlighted the community's role in implementing numerous service projects, particularly in healthcare. He stated that the dialysis center will reduce the burden on patients from the district who previously had to travel long distances for treatment and dialysis sessions.
The Deputy Minister of Health reiterated the ministry's commitment to providing medical services in both urban and remote areas. He detailed that 150 dialysis sessions have been approved at the center, costing $5,000, alongside equipping the facility with dialysis machines at a cost of $60,000. He also acknowledged the contributions of the community and the efforts of local authorities in delivering healthcare services to patients.
