Al-Sabeen District Hosts Celebratory Events to Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday

Kharif: Al-Sabeen district Al-Sabeen district in the capital Sana'a on Sunday witnessed a series of celebratory events commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Hadda and Al-Qadisiyah public works zones and the Transport Office organized an expanded preparatory meeting for professionals, owners of commercial and real-estate establishments, and market operators to celebrate the religious occasion. The meeting was part of mobilization efforts ahead of the large-scale public gathering at Al-Sabeen Square to commemorate the Prophet's birthday.

Member of the Yemeni Scholars Association Sheikh Saleh Al-Khawlani emphasized the need for the nation to return to the Quran, the Prophet Muhammad, his life, and his enduring message, to unite its ranks and advance across all fields in a way that enables it to confront any aggression. He called for broad participation and mobilization for the central event on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal, in a manner befitting the significance of the occasion.

Head of the Jihadi Culture Department Hussein Al-Jubain highlighted the importance of the occasion as a spiritual opportunity to draw lessons from the life and biography of the final Prophet and follow his approach, which transformed the course of history and guided humanity from misguidance to light and success.

Engineer Ahmed Al-Shami, an official from the Al-Qadisiyah Public Works Zone, highlighted the Yemeni people's distinctive love, loyalty, and practical emulation of the Prophet Muhammad, including their commitment to responsibility and the divine message, as well as their support for just causes and the Palestinian cause.

The event, attended by local and executive officials and directors and employees of the district's public works and transport offices, featured cultural and devotional performances celebrating the occasion. Residents from several neighborhoods and localities across Al-Sabeen district also held evening gatherings commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.

The gatherings, attended by broad official and public participation, featured programs and speeches highlighting the significance of the occasion and the Prophet's place in the hearts of Yemenis. Speakers called for drawing lessons from his life and translating his values and morals into everyday practice. They also called for intensified efforts and broad mobilization to participate in the major celebration at Al-Sabeen Square, expressing joy and reverence on the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad and reaffirming the Yemeni people's deep connection with the final Prophet and his family.
