Dimnat khadir: The Al-Sab'een team emerged victorious in the Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad Ramadan football tournament, which was organized by the Shabab Dimnat Khadir District Club with oversight from the Taiz Governorate Youth and Sports Office.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Sab'een clinched the championship title after defeating the Al-Salah team in a tense penalty shootout, with a final score of 7-6. The match had initially ended in a goalless draw, leading to the decisive penalty round.
The tournament saw participation from twelve teams representing different districts within the Taiz governorate. A total of 276 players competed over the course of the 26-day event, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.
As champions, the Al-Sab'een team was awarded the tournament cup and gold medals. Meanwhile, the Al-Salah team, securing the second position, received silver medals for their commendable performance.
