Ibb: Al-Saddah Primary Court and the Public Works Office in the Al-Saddah District of Ibb Governorate organized a speech event on Tuesday to observe the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, District Director Mohammed Al-Darwani emphasized the importance of marking the Prophet's birthday by drawing lessons and values from his life, strengthening ties with the Prophet, and adhering to his morals and principles. He urged the community to actively participate in the activities related to this occasion and encouraged attendance at the central celebration on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal.
Al-Saddah Primary Court Chief Judge Yousef Al-Yafai underscored the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birth as a demonstration of devotion to the Messenger and recognition of his exemplary leadership, courage, struggle, and patience.
The district mobilization official, Adel Al-Bahm, noted that the commemoration serves as an opportunity to reinforce faith-based identity and Quranic culture, while drawing lessons from the Prophet's struggle.
Deputy District Security Director Lt. Col. Rajeh Amer remarked on the occasion's importance as Yemen faces significant challenges, asserting that Yemenis will prevail thanks to their support for the Prophet, Islam, and the oppressed people of Gaza and Palestine.
Local and executive officials, community leaders, sheikhs, and social figures attended the event, which featured chants and poetry. Meanwhile, residents of the Al-Markham area in Al-Saddah held an evening event to mark the occasion, where speakers highlighted the Prophet's birthday as a chance to draw inspiration from his values, strengthen social solidarity, and reinforce unity in confronting challenges. They encouraged widespread participation in activities across neighborhoods and communities, and urged attendance at the central celebration.
