Sana'a: The Ministry of Interior undersecretary for Security and Police, Maj. Gen. Ali Dubaish, and Traffic Police Chief, Maj. Gen. Dr. Bakeel al-Barashi, inaugurated the newly renovated Safiyah Traffic Department building in the capital.
According to Yemen News Agency, the inauguration event saw both officials, along with Capital Traffic Director Brig. Gen. Najeeb al-Asadi, inspect the new equipment and rehabilitation work completed at the facility. The upgrades are part of a concerted effort to enhance the infrastructure and effectiveness of traffic services.
Maj. Gen. Ali Dubaish emphasized the significance of the improvements, highlighting the need for enhanced traffic services both in the capital and throughout other governorates. This initiative reflects a commitment to improving service quality and keeping pace with modern traffic management demands.
Maj. Gen. Dr. Bakeel al-Barashi explained that the renovation is a segment of a larger strategy aimed at modernizing traffic operations. He mentioned that similar upgrades are planned for other departments to ensure consistent service improvement across the board.
Brig. Gen. Najeeb al-Asadi noted the necessity of the renovation due to the department's crucial location and the heavy workload it handles. The enhancements are expected to significantly impact the efficiency and quality of traffic services provided to the public.
