Sana'a: Member of the Supreme Political Council Sultan al-Samai visited the shrine of Martyr President Saleh al-Sammad and his companions at al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana'a on Sunday. During the visit, al-Samai recited prayers for the souls of the martyrs, asking Allah to grant them mercy and to bestow a speedy recovery upon the wounded.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Samai praised the national qualities of Martyr President Saleh al-Sammad, stating that Yemen lost a leader who embodied the model of a sincere statesman. Al-Sammad was seen as a figure who regarded authority as a trust and responsibility rather than a privilege or personal gain. He was recognized for his efforts in unifying the internal front, healing divisions, and managing state affairs with a focus on state-building rather than conflict.
Al-Samai emphasized that the targeting of national leaders is a tactic used by enemies which has failed to break the will of the Yemeni people. He affirmed that the blood of the martyrs remains a source of steadfastness and a path to victory.
Following the visit to the shrine, al-Samai also visited the cemetery of the martyrs of the Change and Construction Government. He offered prayers for their souls and affirmed that their sacrifices will lead to freedom and dignity for the Yemeni people.
In a press statement, al-Samai held the Zionist enemy responsible for crimes and attacks targeting state leadership, including Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahawi and several ministers. He described these attacks as signs of frustration and failure in the face of Yemen's resilience. Al-Samai stressed that a nation producing leaders like President Al-Sammad and the martyrs of the Change and Construction Government will not be defeated.
