Sanaa: Sultan al-Samai, a member of the Supreme Political Council, expressed his deepest condolences to the Iranian people and leadership, and to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), on the martyrdom of Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, his son, and Brigadier General Gholam Reza Soleimani, Commander of the Basij militia.
According to Yemen News Agency, in his message of condolence, the Supreme Political Council member emphasized that the martyr Ali Larijani was one of the most prominent political figures in Iran, combining a military background with institutional experience and expertise in negotiating sensitive issues, making him a pivotal figure in the Iranian regime for decades.
He explained that Larijani was an example of wisdom, insight, and dedication, and that his loss is a great one, noting that his martyrdom was the culmination of many years of dedicated service in the cultural, political, and security fields.
Al-Samai considered Larijani's experience a model of a politician who successfully reconciled ideological principles with the demands of political realism-a delicate balance that often determines a regime's ability to adapt to internal and external transformations.
He reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering support for Iran and the resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq in the face of American and Israeli aggression, and its support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.
