Sanaa: In a statement marking the arrival of Ramadan 1447 A.H., Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi extended his warmest congratulations to the Muslim Yemeni people and the entire Muslim Ummah. He highlighted the significance of Ramadan as a time for spiritual reflection, increased devotion, and active engagement in good deeds.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Houthi underscored the unique opportunities presented by Ramadan, describing it as a period when the doors of divine mercy are particularly open. He emphasized the importance of utilizing this month to strengthen faith, purify the soul, and draw nearer to Allah. He urged Muslims to seize the blessings of Ramadan, including the Night of Qadr, to experience spiritual growth and receive divine mercy.

Al-Houthi also called attention to the broader responsibilities of Muslims during Ramadan. He stressed the need for the Ummah to address the challenges it faces by returning to Allah for guidance and support. He highlighted the plight of oppressed peoples, such as the Palestinians, and the importance of seeking Allah's assistance to overcome adversity.
