Sana'a: Deputy Ministers of Transport and Public Works, Yahya Al-Siyani, and of Electricity, Energy and Water, Adel Bader, inspected the operations of charity kitchens and bakeries in Azal District in the Capital Secretariat.
According to Yemen News Agency, Bader and Al-Siyani were joined by the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works for the Roads Sector, Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, and for Planning, Engineer Wadie Jahaf, as well as the Chairman of the Public Corporation for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadharmi. They reviewed the working mechanism of the charity kitchens and bakeries in providing meals to poor and needy families in Azal District during Ramadan.
The officials were briefed by those in charge of the kitchens and bakeries about the challenges they face and the measures required to sustain their humanitarian activities. The Deputy Ministers emphasized the need for collaboration among district leaders, community figures, and the private sector to continue and expand these charitable activities, reflecting the values of solidarity and cooperation.
They highlighted the significance of these efforts and initiatives as a representation of the Yemeni people's deeply rooted principles, particularly during Ramadan, when charitable acts are highly rewarded. The leadership of Azal District and those managing the charitable initiatives praised the ministries' support in mobilizing resources for the kitchens and bakeries, aligning with directives from the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi.
The ministry leaders also stressed the importance of scholars in community awareness, promoting solidarity and unity against adversities, and countering conspiracies against the nation.
