Al-jawf: The Al-Tas'hih Organization has voiced strong condemnation of the Saudi-led attack on the Central Correctional Facility in Al-Hazm city, located in Al-Jawf Governorate. The organization has labeled the incident a "sinful crime" and a blatant violation of international humanitarian standards.
According to Yemen News Agency, the organization emphasized that the assault on the Al-Jawf Correctional Facility constitutes a heinous crime, marking a notorious disregard for international humanitarian laws and covenants. The attack has been criticized as an egregious violation of the rights and safety of civilians, highlighting the ongoing threats to civilian lives and infrastructure.
The Al-Tas'hih Organization further stressed that this incident adds to the Saudi coalition's extensive record of violations and crimes against the Yemeni people, including assaults on resources, facilities, and non-military targets. The targeting of correctional facilities, schools, and hospitals is cited as evidence of an aggressive strategy that indiscriminately affects Yemeni civilians.
Holding the Saudi forces fully accountable for the attack and its severe repercussions, the organization has called on the international community, humanitarian, and human rights organizations to break their silence. It urges these entities to take action, condemn the crime, and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
Additionally, the organization has called upon local and international media, as well as global advocates for justice, to expose the reality of the crimes against the Yemeni people. It stresses the importance of highlighting the violations against civilians and civilian infrastructure to prevent these acts from being reduced to mere statistics and fleeting headlines.
