Al-Tharafi Stadium Ready for Grand Opening After Comprehensive Renovations

Sanaa: The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Nabeh Nasser, along with the Secretary-General of the Local Council in the Capital Secretariat, Amin Jumaan, conducted an inspection of Al-Tharafi Stadium to assess its readiness for the upcoming opening.

According to Yemen News Agency, the rehabilitation and preparation works have been finalized, encompassing the stadium's pitch, stands, players' rooms, and service facilities. This comprehensive effort ensures that the stadium is primed to host sports activities, tournaments, and youth events.

During their visit, the Deputy Minister and the Secretary-General received an in-depth briefing from Abdullah Obaid, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the Secretariat, on the final preparations and operational plans. This briefing highlighted the commitment to providing a safe and fully equipped sports environment for youth and athletes.

The Deputy Minister underscored the significance of Al-Tharafi Stadium as a key sports facility in the capital, emphasizing its role in hosting tournaments and competitions.
