Sanaa:Al-Thawra District: Residents of Al-Jurf Al-Gharbi and Al-Malaab neighborhoods held a significant armed rally on Wednesday, condemning Saudi actions and expressing support for the armed forces. The event, organized under the slogan 'Mobilization and Readiness to Confront Escalation with Escalation,' coincided with the third anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rally displayed Yemeni and Palestinian flags and voiced strong condemnation of crimes allegedly committed by Saudi mercenaries against prisoners. They declared their complete mobilization and readiness to counter Saudi forces and support the battlefronts with personnel and funds in defense of Yemen's sovereignty.
The rally attendees also reaffirmed their support for Ansarullah leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi and expressed determination to continue what they described as a battle for liberation and independence against Saudi aggression and blockade.
A statement released during the rally emphasized the need for ongoing mobilization and support for the battlefronts with fighters and equipment. It reiterated Yemen's support for Gaza, the Palestinian cause, and the defense of Islamic holy sites, including Al-Aqsa Mosque. The statement also urged those misled into joining the opposing side to return to the national ranks and take advantage of the presidential amnesty.
In remembrance of the first anniversary of Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari's death, the residents renewed their commitment to uphold his legacy and continue efforts toward what they described as the liberation of Al-Quds and resistance against occupiers and oppressors.
