Maeen District Rally Mobilizes Against Saudi Military Escalation

Sanaa:A mass tribal rally took place in the Maeen District under the banner 'Mobilization and Readiness to Counter Escalation with Escalation,' aiming to support the Armed Forces' activities on various fronts.

According to Yemen News Agency, the rally, attended by Capital Secretariat Mayor Dr. Hamoud Abbad along with other officials and dignitaries, expressed readiness to support the fronts with personnel, funds, and equipment to counter Saudi military mobilization.

Mayor Abbad commended the residents of Maeen and the Capital Secretariat for their backing, noting that the Armed Forces are engaged in significant operations to defend the country's sovereignty. He highlighted that these developments coincide with the third anniversary of the October 7 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation.

Sheikh Faisal Al-Majidi, speaking at the rally, emphasized national unity and support for the leadership and Armed Forces. He urged those misled to rejoin national ranks and take advantage of the presidential general amnesty.

A statement from the rally announced the mobilization of Maeen residents, condemning Saudi actions against Yemen and affirming support for the Palestinian cause and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. It also pledged to uphold the principle of 'blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation' until foreign influence is removed.

The statement renewed calls for those allied with the opposition to return, emphasizing Yemen's support for the Palestinian resistance and Islamic holy sites. Participants pledged to continue the legacy of Maj. Gen. Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, referred to as the 'Martyr of Al-Quds.'

The rally concluded by congratulating the Palestinian people and resistance in Gaza on the anniversary of the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation, reiterating Yemen's support for the Palestinian resistance and the Axis of Jihad and Resistance. The event was attended by various local officials, tribal leaders, and residents.
