Al-tuhayta: Al-Balda Al-Tayyiba Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society in Al-Tuhayta district of Hodeida governorate continues to collect and market the dried date harvest as part of efforts to support local produce and promote agricultural economic activity in the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the quantity of dates marketed for the benefit of Hadaf Al-Inmaa Company has reached 103 tons. The society continues to purchase dates of various varieties and quality grades from farmers, providing marketing channels for producers and contributing to improved distribution of the crop.
The society's Secretary-General Dawoud Fadl and Dates Unit official Fahd Kashmou stated that the collection and marketing operations are carried out through an organized mechanism. This mechanism aims to facilitate farmers' access to markets and beneficiary entities, thereby improving the efficiency of marketing local dates.
They emphasized the importance of marketing dates in developing agricultural value chains by organizing collection and marketing operations. This encourages farmers to improve production quality and increase output, ultimately enhancing the crop's economic returns.
