Al-Wahda Club Hosts 10th Summer Forum, Engages Youth in Sports and Culture

Sana'a: Al-Wahda Sana'a Club organized a sports and cultural event as part of its 10th Summer Forum, involving 800 children and young people in a variety of activities. The event highlights the club's commitment to harnessing the energies of youth and developing their talents through sports and cultural programs.

According to Yemen News Agency, Secretary-General of the Local Council in the Capital Sana'a and Chairman of Al-Wahda Club, Amin Juma'an, emphasized the significance of such forums in enhancing the physical and intellectual abilities of the youth. He reiterated the club's dedication to providing integrated programs that not only include sports but also cultural initiatives aimed at strengthening awareness and reinforcing identity among participants.

Juma'an further explained that supporting youth gatherings is an investment in future generations. The forums offer a range of cultural activities such as lectures, educational lessons, and competitions, equipping young people with valuable knowledge and skills during the summer vacation. He expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for its ongoing support and sponsorship of activities targeting children and youth.

Director-General of the Youth and Sports Office in the Capital Sana'a, Abdullah Obeid, recognized the 10th Summer Forum as a model of organization, public engagement, and nurturing youth creativity. He commended the club administration's efforts in creating an environment conducive to developing young participants' talents and creativity. His remarks were supported by Head of the Media Committee at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Aziz Al-Mawari, Director of Federations Wael Al-Qurashi, and the club's Assistant Secretary-General Abdullah Mudhafar.

Assistant Cultural Supervisor at Al-Wahda Club, Mohammed al-Najjar, highlighted the forum's cultural program, which includes educational and awareness activities promoting positive values and principles. He noted the strong interaction and participation by children and youth as indicators of the forum's operational success and its ability to channel their energies into productive activities.
