Juban: The Ministry of Youth and Sports has granted final official recognition to Ittihad Na'wah Club in Juban district of Dhale governorate, after the club fulfilled all legal requirements and conditions.
According to Yemen News Agency, the certificate of final recognition was handed over by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabeel Nasser to club head Manea al-Asfour, in the presence of Secretary-General of the Local Council in the Capital Sana'a Amin Juma'an, along with several ministry officials.
During the handover ceremony, the deputy minister emphasized the importance of the club fulfilling its educational, sporting, cultural, and social responsibilities in serving youth, athletes, and the wider community in the district. He noted that the granting of final recognition came after significant efforts by the club's management and members to meet all required conditions, stressing the need to continue strengthening the club's role in serving society.
He also described sports clubs as educational, cultural, sporting, and social institutions that nurture young people, develop their skills and creativity, promote positive values, and play a key role in awareness and protection of youth from risks, while providing a supportive environment for developing their capabilities in various fields.
For his part, Ittihad Na'wah Club head expressed his satisfaction with the official recognition, describing it as the result of the Ministry of Youth and Sports' support and attention. He praised the community contributions and efforts of club members, particularly their self-funded and community-driven rehabilitation of the club's stadium and other facilities, which helped accelerate the recognition process. He affirmed that the club will remain a platform for all young people and a space for creativity and excellence in Juban district.
