Sana'a: The Ministry of Finance and the Tax and Customs Authority organized a protest on Tuesday to condemn the repeated and systematic insults to the Holy Quran, and in support of al-Aqsa Mosque and in solidarity with Palestine and Lebanon. Participants in the protest, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Finance Nasser al-Hamdani and a number of leaders and employees from the ministry and the authority, raised pictures of the Holy Quran and banners expressing anger and condemnation of the repeated insults to holy sites and the extremist acts that fuel hate speech and provoke the feelings of Muslims around the world, perpetrated by Zionist and American enemies.

According to Yemen News Agency, they denounced the act of the American extremist, Jake Lang, who burned a copy of the Holy Quran, considering it a blatant attack on the Holy Book of God and the sacred sites of the Islamic nation, and a provocation of Muslim feelings. A statement issued at the rally, read by Walid Fayez, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for the Regulatory Sector, condemned the repeated insults against the Holy Quran and the almost daily desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the enemies of God, the Americans and the Zionists.

The statement affirmed that the Yemeni people will not remain silent in the face of these renewed insults and the ongoing crusades in all their forms. It called upon Muslims worldwide and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic world to fulfill their duty by taking serious and sincere action in the path of God, implementing boycott campaigns, and holding mass demonstrations in all cities and capitals to confront the Zionist satanic scheme and its hostile actions against Islam and Muslims, as well as the hostile campaigns it is waging against the nation.

The statement emphasized that the greatest danger lies in complacency and negligence in confronting the aggressive satanic schemes of the Jews and their agents. It reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering stance, rooted in religious and moral principles, in support of its brothers in Gaza, working towards the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque and every inch of Palestinian land, and standing with the prisoners held in Israeli jails until their freedom is achieved.

The statement also expressed solidarity with the resistance fighters of Hezbollah in Lebanon, praising Hezbollah's strong and painful stances against the Zionist entity. Furthermore, it emphasized the high level of preparedness for any new developments or escalations that America and Israel might undertake in their targeting of the region and the Muslim world, and their attempts to escalate their aggression in a new round against the region after the failure of their previous aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The statement noted that the valiant Yemeni people remain present in the field of jihad, carrying the banner of Islam and at the forefront of supporting Islam and the Quran, just as their ancestors, the Ansar, did. It added, "We will remain steadfast in our righteous stance with unwavering pride, dignity, and resilience, responding to the call of truth and our religious duty, present under the banner of our leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi."

The statement called upon the Islamic nation and the Yemeni people to adhere to the Holy Quran, follow its guidance, preserve their faith-based identity, and be wary of the enemy's subtle psychological warfare tactics, which specifically target the younger generations. It also emphasized the importance of everyone's participation in supporting the Eid convoy for those stationed on the fronts of honor, dignity, and holy jihad.
