Sanaa: The Ministry of Youth and Sports recently celebrated delegations from Shabab Hadramaut, Ittihad Hadramaut, Fahman Abyan, Al Sadd Marib, and Shabab Al Bayda clubs, emphasizing sports as a vital communication bridge and a means to foster unity across Yemeni society. The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Nabeh Nasser, highlighted the role of sports in bringing together youth from various governorates under a unified national identity.
According to Yemen News Agency, during a meeting with the sports teams' delegations and technical staff, Nasser underscored that the participation of these clubs in the first division football league symbolizes the resilience and strength of the sports sector in overcoming challenges. The Deputy Minister engaged in discussions with club leaders at a dinner banquet, where he listened to their goals and strategies for upcoming matches, and symbolic financial contributions were provided to support the clubs' efforts in the tournament.
The Deputy Minister of Sports Sector, Ali Hadhban, commended the discipline and readiness of the teams, emphasizing the significance of ongoing sports competitions as platforms for harnessing the potential of Yemeni youth.
