Sana'a: Al-Wahda district in the Capital Sana'a organized a speech event on Wednesday to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah 1446 AH. The gathering was attended by Ministry of Youth Undersecretary Dr. Ghassan al-Madani and District Director Sami Hamid, featuring cultural activist Dr. Ahmed al-Shami, who highlighted the significance of embedding al-Wilayah values within society.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Ahmed al-Shami emphasized that allegiance to Imam Ali is crucial for achieving success, prosperity, and empowerment. He linked Yemen's current achievements and its support for Gaza against America and Israel to this allegiance. Al-Shami stressed the importance of a sincere return to allegiance to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali for the sake of national honor.
District Director Sami Hamid commented that the commemoration signifies a profound understanding of Imam Ali's significance and the essence of allegiance. He attributed the Islamic nation's weaknesses to its neglect of divine commands and lauded Yemen's efforts in supporting the Prophet and Imam Ali, challenging global arrogance, and assisting Palestinian resistance. Hamid called for widespread participation in the central al-Wilayah event.
