Al-Wahda Sana’a General Assembly Outlines Strategic Future Projects

Sana'a: The General Assembly of Al-Wahda Sana'a Club convened an extensive meeting to deliberate on the club's forthcoming strategies while solidifying efforts to maintain its achievements and enhance its youth, sports, and developmental initiatives.

According to Yemen News Agency, the club's Secretary-General, Mohammed Al-Sadiq, presented the Board of Directors' report, which detailed the club's significant achievements and the challenges it has surmounted. He unveiled a series of strategic projects, including the construction of an indoor sports hall, the development of an investment medical tower, the completion of a players' housing project, and initiatives to ensure the club's stability.

In an audio message, Sheikh Sadiq Amin Abu Ras, Chairman of the club's Supreme Honorary Council, emphasized the administration's full authority to implement necessary measures to advance the club. He urged the club to steer clear of disputes and controversies. Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohammed Al-Muayadi, commended the club's progress under Amin Jamaan's leadership, noting his contribution to Yemeni sports.

Abdullah Obeid, Director of the Capital Secretariat's Youth and Sports Office, highlighted the importance of preserving the club as a distinguished youth and sports institution, recognizing it as one of Yemen's premier clubs. Club members Bakil Al-Mutri and Issam Zahra regarded the meeting as a vital opportunity to evaluate the club's achievements and celebrate its successes in sports, youth activities, investment projects, and construction.

Investor Ghaleb Al-Harazi praised the club's role as a developmental partner in supporting the local economy and revitalizing Yemen's coffee industry. The meeting concluded with Mutahar Al-Ashmouri, a club member and journalist, reading the General Assembly's statement. The statement reaffirmed confidence in the Board of Directors led by Amin Jamaan, rejected the chairman's resignation, endorsed the Supreme Honorary Council's outcomes, and expressed full support for future strategic plans and projects.

The gathering also included the screening of a documentary film showcasing the club's history and its achievements in various sports.
