Sana'a: The football championship for the Mawlid al-Nabawi Cup among schools in Al-Manar District, Dhamar Governorate, concluded today.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament was organized by the local branch of the Office of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the education sector branch, supported by the Youth and Adolescents Care Fund, and coordinated with the governorate's Youth and Sports Office.
The final match took place at Saif bin Dhi Yazan Sports Complex in Al-Yatrah, featuring teams from Al-Wehda School in Al-Masna'ah and Al-Majan School. The game concluded with a penalty shootout victory for Al-Wehda School's team.
During the closing ceremony, Director of the Governorate Youth and Sports Office Taysir Rawiyah, Director of the District Youth Office Khaled Al-Sultan, Mobilization Official Hamid Al-Salami, and Deputy Head of the Education Sector Mujahid Silan honored the winners. Al-Wehda was awarded the championship cup and gold medals, while Al-Majan received silver medals and additional prizes.
