Al-hodeida: Al-Yarmouk Sports Club team claimed the Martyr Dr. Mohammed Al-Muwallad Cup this afternoon in a commemorative match organized by Al-Hodeida Youth and Sports Office in coordination with the local Football Association branch, honoring the late minister’s legacy and his contributions to youth and sports.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Yarmouk secured the cup after defeating Shabab Al-Halaj 6-0 in the match held at Al-Alfi Sports Stadium in Al-Hudaydah city. The commemorative match, named after Martyr Dr. Al-Muwallad, highlighted his prominent role in the sports community and recognized his significant efforts in developing youth and sports activities during his tenure as Minister of Youth and Sports.
Following the match, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, Imad Al-Barai, the Secretary of the local Football Association branch, Ahmed Al-Rajwi, and several sports figures honored Al-Yarmouk with the Martyr Al-Muwallad Cup in the presence of a large audience and widespread community engagement.
This victory adds a new achievement to Al-Yarmouk Club’s record of titles, following their recent triumph two days ago when they won the Martyr Al-Rukn Al-Ghamari Cup after defeating Ahli Al-Hudaydah 2-0.
