Taiz:Ali Al-Junaid, head of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families branch in Taiz province, visited the family of Saeed Mohammed Al-Qawz in the Al-Barh area of Maqbana district. This visit comes in the wake of a Saudi airstrike that resulted in the death of eight family members and injuries to five others.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visit was part of the activities marking the 1448 AH Martyr Anniversary. During his visit, Al-Junaid assessed the damage to the Al-Qawz family's home and property and offered condolences from the local authority and leadership.
Al-Junaid reiterated the commitment of the Martyrs' Families Care Authority to support the families of civilian victims by addressing their humanitarian and livelihood needs. He condemned the continued targeting of civilians by Saudi forces, describing the actions as morally bankrupt and a failure on the ground. He emphasized that supporting the families of martyrs is a shared moral and national responsibility.
Members of the Al-Qawz family expressed gratitude for the visit and the ongoing support from the revolutionary leadership and the Martyrs' Families Care Authority, highlighting the importance of recognizing and honoring the sacrifices made by the victims.
