Sanaa: Acting Prime Minister Allama Mohammed Muftah extended his congratulations to the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and to President Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, and through them to all male and female workers across Yemen in various workplaces and production sectors, on the occasion of International Workers' Day.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Acting Prime Minister praised the significant role of the Yemeni labor movement and its honorable positions throughout different stages, as well as its resilience in the face of challenges caused by what he described as the US-Saudi-UAE aggression and blockade since March 2015 to the present.
He highlighted the major efforts of Yemeni workers in serving the paths of development and production, and their vital contribution to supporting the state's direction toward self-sufficiency, reliance on local capabilities, and reducing dependence on external sources.
Muftah also pointed to the shared responsibility of the three parties in the labor process-government, workers, and the private sector-in preserving the achievements of the Yemeni labor movement, strengthening and developing its national role in confronting aggression, blockade, and all critical Yemeni issues, as well as issues affecting the Arab and Islamic nations.
He affirmed that the Government of Change and Construction will spare no effort in supporting the labor movement and enhancing its productive role across agricultural, industrial, and professional sectors.
