Sana'a: The Acting Prime Minister, Allamah Mohammed Miftah, inspected today the level of readiness of Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana'a, which will host the central celebration of the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi), as well as the women's sector square at the Military College.
According to Yemen News Agency, Allamah Miftah, accompanied by the Advisor to the President of the Supreme Political Council Ali Al-Qaisi, the Mayor of the Capital Dr. Hammoud Abbad, the Acting Director of the Prime Minister's Office Fahd Al-Azzi, the First Deputy Secretary of the Capital Khaled Al-Madani, and Sheikh Hussein Hazeb, listened to a detailed explanation from the official in charge of the two celebration squares, Ali Al-Saqqaf. The briefing covered the technical, service, and organizational preparations that have been completed in both squares, the streets, and the entrances leading to them, in addition to parking areas and organizational plans.
The Acting Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation visited the shrine of the martyred President Saleh Al-Sammad and his companions in Al-Sabeen Square, where they recited Al-Fatiha, praying for mercy on the soul of Martyr Al-Sammad, his companions, and all the nation's martyrs.
After his visit to Al-Sabeen Square, Allamah Miftah, in a media statement, commended all efforts made by the field committees in preparing both squares from all organizational and technical aspects. He expressed confidence that the outcome of this year's celebration preparations would surpass that of the previous year due to accumulated experience and continuous evaluation. He noted that the Yemeni people are ready to celebrate a significant occasion on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
The Mayor of the Capital highlighted that the visit of the Acting Prime Minister and the supervising presidential committee is part of reviewing the accomplishments made in preparing Al-Sabeen Square and the Military College Square for the grandest celebration of this occasion. He affirmed that the efforts reflect the status of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him), with the Capital Secretariat taking significant strides in this regard. Everyone involved considers it an honor to serve the anniversary of the birth of the Chosen Prophet (PBUH), in line with directives from the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
The First Deputy Secretary of the Capital Secretariat explained the review of the readiness of the squares to receive the guests of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him). He encouraged the Yemeni people to participate in a manner reflecting their faith-based identity and historical support for the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) and Islam, emphasizing their unique presence in commemorating this religious occasion.
Al-Madani affirmed that the people of Yemen reaffirm every year what the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) said about them: "Faith is Yemeni and wisdom is Yemeni," through their faith-based distinction and exceptional presence among the Islamic world in celebrating the Messenger of God (peace be upon him).
