Amran Celebrates Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday with Cultural and Religious Events

Amran: Celebratory activities marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday have been held throughout the Amran Governorate, featuring cultural gatherings, religious evenings, and student scout performances. The events aim to emphasize the significance of the Prophet's life and teachings.

According to Yemen News Agency, in Amran city, the governorate's security authorities and units organized a commemorative event attended by Governor Faisal Jamaan, along with senior security and social figures. The speakers at the event highlighted the importance of this occasion and the lessons drawn from the Prophet's life, particularly focusing on values such as compassion, solidarity, patience, and responsibility.

The College of Engineering and Information Technology and the University Student Forum also hosted an event featuring cultural and devotional performances. The focus was on strengthening young people's connection with the Prophet's biography and values. Similar cultural and religious events were also held in Jabal Ayal Yazid, Bakil Al-Sawad, Shaharah, Sufyan, Habur Dhulaymah, Al-Qaflah, Al-Madan, Al-Ashah, and Al-Akahum in Al-Jabal district, with speakers emphasizing the occasion's religious and cultural importance and the need to follow the Prophet's example.

These events are part of a broader set of official and community activities leading up to the main celebration on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal. Additionally, student scout performances took place in Jabal Ayal Yazid and Maswar under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.' These performances included chants and slogans celebrating the occasion and showcased the students' enthusiasm, discipline, teamwork, and awareness of safety procedures through programs organized by the Civil Defense branch.
