Amran:The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources for the Fisheries Sector, Dr. Fawzi Al-Saghir, has inaugurated a new tilapia fish farming project at the Al-Ektifaa Association in Amran Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Saghir inspected the project's facilities and technical preparations, expressing appreciation for the association's operational readiness and its capacity to implement and monitor production projects.
He emphasized the significant role of the project in supporting the fisheries value chain, expanding fish farming in areas equipped with dams and water barriers. The initiative aims to boost local production and promote fish farming in the region.
