Amran: Secretary General of the Amran Local Council Saleh Al-Makhlous on Sunday inspected the rehabilitation work on the Amran-Raida road, implemented by the General Authority for Roads and Bridges with support from the local authority and the Road Maintenance Fund.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project involves repairing and resurfacing both lanes of the 20-kilometer road, as part of a broader plan to improve the governorate's road and bridge infrastructure. Al-Makhlous emphasized the project's significance in fostering economic and social development, reducing traffic congestion, and minimizing vehicle damage caused by deteriorated roads and rain-related potholes.
He urged the executing authority to complete the project on schedule, adhering to technical specifications and quality standards. He highlighted the road's role as a crucial connection between Amran and Rida, serving thousands of residents daily.
